The world is changing.
From the emerging vigilance about political correctness to cancel culture and the solidification of identity politics, modern culture is evolving all the time. These changes help elevate voices and create more equality in our world, but at the same time some of us get left behind. You might be unsure of what to say, when you’re supposed to speak up or shut up. The fear of offense can paralyse you. And especially as a leader, you are expected to act. To lead.

Expectations have shifted.
As leaders, navigating culture change is essential to our role but it feels like it is getting more difficult. Every person we are responsible to expects more from us. Expects us to know the answer, even when it is difficult to hold complexity and respond with grace. To navigate these growing expectations with confidence we must embark on an internal journey.

It’s time for your journey.
Each of us come from a different level of experience or perspective. Through exploration we can develop confidence around the words and topics that arise.
From a foundation of knowledge, we can find our connection to these concepts. What is my experience and how does it relate? What stories of my own are valuable to share?
In the journey of leading culture change, you never arrive. Your journey is different for my journey, all our journeys are unique. This can be confronting.

Navigating change.
Change can be uncomfortable and you might feel challenged and lost at times. I’m here to walk with you. To take each step together, to sit in discomfort together. From my own experience in learning and unlearning, I know that changing our beliefs and behaviours is a deeply transformational experience and that even small shifts have seismic results. Beyond my own lived experience, I’ve worked with leaders around the world to find their personal meaning and connection to big concepts, and to then communicate it in their own words.
The offering:
What I know for sure is that we are all capable of changing our beliefs, mindsets and actions. And I know this work is achieved more easily when done together with buddy, there in the trenches with you cheering you on. Let’s walk together.
We will meet three times:
Introduce inclusion and assess your education gaps;
Continue exploring that specific topic and your connection to it; and
Define your stories and values to share with others.
The outputs of this coaching program are:
Greater understanding of the various issues, while focusing on a particular topic
Increased confidence to participate in inclusion
Increased capability navigating complex conversations and situations
Identify your connection to this area, your core values and key stories
When we work together, I open a browser tab in my brain with your name on it. This means in between our scheduled sessions I’ll send you occasional thoughts, questions and resources that match your nominated learning style (podcasts, articles, books, videos, etc).
For three one-hour coaching sessions with Emma, your investment will be $5,000 + GST.
